Creating a Frankenwatch?

Hello all! Pocket watches are a recent interest of mine, and some time ago I got my hands on a pretty nice Revue GT from an auction. Predictably, it doesn't work, or rather it doesn't keep time properly. Sometimes the minute and hour hands run too slow, sometimes the mechanism ticks too fast, and other times it mysteriously works just fine. Mainly at night, for some reason.

I haven't had any luck finding spare parts for it, and I'm starting to lose hope, so it's gotten me thinking something pretty silly.

Would it be possible to replace the antique movement with a recently manufactured one? If so, where would one buy such a thing? Are modern pocket watches "dissassemble-able" enough for an operation like this?

The face of its current movement is 43,5mm in diameter, which i think places it around 16s, if that helps at all.
