Silly question, is SPF 30 enough?

I've done some research, but would love to hear from other people. I want to use the CeraVe Tinted SPF 30 (it is in a paler shade that most price-effective products don't offer).

I usually go for SPF 40-50, but wanted to give this product a try. I don't live somewhere sunny and usually wear a hat.

Thanks

Holy Grail Sunscreen Rec?

I’ve tried so many sunscreens but struggle to find the one for me. I have 3 criteria:

  1. spf of at least 40

  2. clean ish ingredients (no fragrances, no homosalate, etc)

  3. looks as invisible as possible (I know this is hard with criteria #2). Basically, mineral sunscreen tends to look super white on me, and tinted looks orange. I’m pretty pale. If only there was something like the clear gel sunscreens with no homosalate.

I know this may be tricky, but I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks!
