Baby containment items for this next stage, 5-6 months

My twins are almost 5 months and the products I have in my house are starting to come to the end of their useful life. The babies don’t wanna sit or tummy time in the Twinz pillow anymore. One of my babies is starting to get a little heavy for the cheap bouncers I have (though I think we still have a bit more time with those). They’ve never really liked the swings anyway, so I think it’s time for me to get rid of those.

OK, so I’m wondering what did you guys use to help you get through this next stage? Did bumbo type seats work best for you? Did you get those jumpers? Those activity centers that you can stick the baby in? Something I’m not thinking of? I know I still need some way of containing/entertaining the babies at times. They get grumpy if they have too much floor time. I just don’t know what’s best for twins at this age. I’d love your input on what worked for you! Thank you!!

3-4 Month Old Nap Advice

My twins are 14 weeks old and I feel like we’ve hit a nap transition that I don’t know how to navigate.
I’ve been using Huckleberry’s Sweet Spot feature, and honestly it’s been so helpful. The babies usually start getting fussy about 10 minutes before the predicted nap time, so I know when they’re ready.
The challenge is that they now seem to need help falling asleep for naps. If only one baby is tired, I’ll hold them, pat their bottom, rock them, and use white noise until they fall asleep for a contact nap. The problem is that the other twin usually still needs me, and when I eventually set the sleeping baby down or go help the other twin, the sleeping baby often wakes up, the nap ends early and the baby is now awake and upset about it. If both babies are tired at the same time, I feel completely stuck. I can’t hold and settle both of them to sleep at once. What usually ends up happening is that one or both fall asleep in a bouncer with white noise while I’m supervising. I know that’s not ideal and I would really like to transition toward crib naps. The issue is that neither baby seems able to fall asleep independently yet. They generally need to be asleep before I transfer them, and if I put them in the crib awake, the napping part won’t happen.

Twins just make everything so hard, I’m wanting to know what you guys did for naps around this age. How did you settle both babies at the same time? Where were they sleeping? Any advice would be so helpful!

And Nighttime sleep is actually going well in their cribs because my husband is usually home to help me settle them. It’s the daytime naps when I’m alone that feel impossible. Thank you so much!!

Do I have the maintenance right?

Got my hot tub last week. I want to make sure I have the maintenance part down. I’m wanting to do the bare minimum amount of maintenance.

-Empty and refill hot tub every 3 months. When I refill that’s when I rebalance it with PH/Alkalinity/hardness stuff.

-I have the chlorine frog system. So replace cartridge every month and the whole system every 3-4 months.

-Shock once weekly

-Do clean cycle on hot tub after each use

-Rinse off filter weekly. Replace as needed?

Thank you so much, let me know if I’m missing anything. Learning all this hot tub stuff is like learning a new language. The hot tub sales lady was just spouting off words/products as if I knew at all what she was talking about.
