We're leaving the UAE at the end of August and I'm down to the part of packing where you look at a shelf and admit you're not taking all of it on a plane. So — Dubai people, these are looking for a home.

The one I'm genuinely sad about:

New Portable Architecture (SANDU Publishing) — AED 100

Large-format hardback on mobile and temporary structures: pavilions, pop-ups, modular cabins, festival and exhibition builds, with plans and photography throughout. English text, retails around 190. One corner of the cover is bumped and creased — photos show it, and that's why it's 120 rather than more. Pages are clean and unmarked.

If you're an architect, a designer or a student, this is a reference you keep on the desk rather than read once. I'd rather it went to someone who'll actually open it than to a recycling bin.

The rest — 8 books, AED 60 for the lot:

Mostly business and self-development with a thriller and a drawing book in there. Normal shelf wear, no water damage, nothing falling apart, no annotations.

Happy to split the lot if two or three of them are what you're after — just say which.

I'm on Palm Jumeirah. Pickup is easiest, but I can meet somewhere sensible in Dubai if that works better for you. Cash or transfer, whatever.

And if nobody wants the eight, tell me where the good book-swap shelves in Dubai are — I'd rather pass them on than bin them.

Relocating out of the UAE at the end of the month, so everything below has to go. Everything is tested, working, and you're welcome to come try it before paying.

LG 27UL850-W — 27" 4K UHD IPS monitor — AED 850
Real 3840x2160 IPS panel, HDR400, and — the good part — USB-C with 60W power delivery, so it's one cable to a MacBook: video, data and charging at once. Height/tilt/pivot adjustable stand. Manufactured 03/2021, no dead pixels, no scratches. Original box not available.
Cougar electric height-adjustable desk + full-size Cougar desk mat — AED 1,000
Motorised sit-stand desk with memory presets (M1/M2), carbon-fibre finish top, monitor riser shelf included. The XL Cougar mat covering the whole top goes with it. Smooth motor, no wobble. Retails for 2,699 new. Note: it's heavy — you'll need a van and ideally a second person.
Gaming chair (fabric, black) — AED 300
Fabric upholstery (much better than PU leather in this climate — no peeling), 4D armrests, reclining backrest with retractable footrest, lumbar cushion and headrest pillow included. Some light wear on the fabric, all mechanics work fine.
Desk + chair together — AED 1,200
FITNESS
COOLBABY walking pad / under-desk treadmill — AED 350
Flat, no handrails, fits under a bed or sofa. LED display, remote control included. Barely used — bought it with good intentions, used it about ten times. Retails new for 499.
TAKE IT ALL: AED 3,900 for the entire lot (adds up to 4,300 separately). Serious offers on the full lot get priority.
Pickup: Palm Jumeirah.
Delivery: possible for AED 100–200 depending on your area (Marina/JBR/Media City on the lower end, Sharjah/Ajman on the higher end). Desk excluded — that one is pickup only unless you arrange your own van.
Payment: cash or bank transfer on collection.
