New Jerseyans: We spent the last two years filming a found-footage horror movie deep in the Pine Barrens based on the Jersey Devil. Here’s our first teaser trailer!
Hey r/SouthJersey ,
I’m a local resident and lifelong Jersey lore fan. Over the past couple of years, my wife and I wrote, directed, and shot an independent found-footage horror feature called LEEDS POINT on location deep in the Pine Barrens.
We just locked our final cut and released our official teaser trailer.

We wanted to ground the story in real South Jersey folklore, focusing on the eerie atmosphere of the Pines at night and the authentic history of the Leeds family legend.
We’re currently targeting an early 2027 release with streaming distribution discussions underway. I’d love to know what my fellow South Jerseyans think of the teaser, and I’m happy to answer any questions. Will you brave the Pine Barrens with us?
