Rookie roaster - please help
Hi all, I got an Aillio Bullet 2 and started roasting (seasoned the drum properly and followed all guidelines to the T). When I start roasting (I am doing it indoors at around 17-18 celsius temp) the B-RoR doesn’t go beyond 20 celsius. There is also no exhaust built in on top of the roaster and nothing from outside ambience which can impact such low B-RoR. I’ve opened the front cover and cleaned the IBTS sensor although it was not dirty at all.
I tried charging from 230-265 celsius but I never get to a decently looking B-RoR. I also don’t have the I-RoR visible on roast.time whilst using the most recent version of the program.
I am using Kenya Meru SL28 beans and am roasting in Nairobi (if useful for any reference on altitude etc.).
