Pulsar Superglide3 slower than my Pulsar PD170
I got the chance to borrow a Pulsar Superglide 3 glass mouse pad for my first glass experience and I'm feeling a bit mixed about it. I wasn't expecting it to be slower than my PD170 cloth pad using the same stock skates on my Vaxee XE-S.
Is this normal? I was expecting even the slowest glass pads to be faster than the fastest cloth pads. I'm sure that I can tune it to be very similar to my PD170 with some dot skates but I'm sort of in two minds about getting my own glass pad or not.
Pros:
- Looks amazing (dark green colourway)
- Easy to maintain and won't get dirty like my cloth pads
- I already use a gaming sleeve
- The sound of my mouse on it is quiet and not unpleasant
Cons:
- Its very cold to the touch...
- Slower than expected
Will the glass pad feel different after my stock skates wear in a bit? Really thinking about whether to get my own and sell my PD170.
If I can get the same feel of the PD170 from the superglide3, I think I would prefer the easier maintenance and beautiful look of it.
