Considering their US locations to my knowledge are all in the Chicago metro area...
Guzman y Gomez shares surge as much as 20% after fast-food chain says it will exit U.S. market
I tried their original US location in Naperville a few years back and actually enjoyed it and they'd started construction on a 2nd location in Naperville on Rte. 59.
I'm wondering what's going to happen with construction on the Rte. 59 location. There are signs on the perimeter fences about it opening later in 2026.
Unfortunately, due to a 1965 MGM Film Vault fire, many films of the silent era were permanently lost.
While I am against using AI to "cast" actors who are no longer alive alongside contemporary actors (kind of like that AI James Dean film that thankfully got shelved due to controversy back in 2019), I was wondering, would it make sense to/would it be acceptable to use AI to recreate/restore some of the lost films of that era?
I would think providing an AI engine with a script, production stills, and maybe some video samples of surviving films of that era that starred some of the same actors that AI could potentially do somewhat faithful recreations of some of the films.
The film in particular that comes to mind is the lost Tod Browning directed 1927 horror film "London After Midnight" starring Lon Chaney, Marceline Day, and Conrad Nagel. The script is still intact and I've heard the intertitles are as well,,so they could be interwoven. And there are several production stills from the film that AI could use to recreate it.
That said, I'm not sure how I would feel about that-- I do think as long as proper credit is given that this is a more ethically acceptable usage of AI in the film industry than trying to cast deceased "actors" alongside living actors innew films.

Chicago is my 2nd most listened to artist on Spotify since I first signed up in January 2012. I have listened to Chicago 3,431 times (234 hours).
Interestingly there's a tie for my most listened to Chicago songs.
"If You Leave Me Now" and "Now" -- I've listened to both 62 times. After that are "Beginnings", "No Tell Lover," and "Hard Habit to Break" t round out my Top 5. I have CTA, II, V, VII, XI, 16, and 17 on vinyl so I listen to those as well so Spotify wouldn't have a history of that.
They are 2nd only to Toto (4,583 times, 339.3 hours). And according to my AI's analysis-- In the 339.3 hours I've oddly only listened to Africa once and I've never listened to Rosanna on Spotify. Keep in mind I have Toto IV on vinyl, and used to have it on CD so I have listened to both tracks OFF of Spotify plenty of times.
Spotify is doing a variation of their end of year "Wrapped." I've had 2 different accounts. It'll tell you when you first subscribed and what the first ever song you listened to and which artist you listened to most. I logged into both to get a view of overall stats.
My first ever song was Joseph Williams cover of "Don't Worry Baby" back on January 14, 2012.
My most listened to artist is Toto-- and that was the same on both accounts. So I totaled up the # of minutes I listened to Toto on both of my accounts-- 17,107 minutes of Toto since 2012... and that's just on Spotify.
