I will be going to Canada as an exchange student next year and I'm really worried about the concept of a host family. Are there usually strict rules? And I am usually not very outgoing until I get comfortable and I can come off as a bit awkward and I wouldn't want my host family to be disappointed or have any problems with my host family. Can anyone who has went to an exchange year tell me their experiences?
