Wellbutrin is making me feel crazy!
Hello! New to Reddit… but I have been on Wellbutrin for about 3 weeks now (but also there were some days that I didn’t take it..) I’m on the extended release 150mg. I feel extremely panicky, anxious and I am very weepy. I also have been feeling some vertigo/dizziness the last few days (forgot to take it with me on a trip and didn’t take it for 4 days). I feel like I’m going insane. My anxiety is all the time and peaks at night, where I often feel like I’m constantly on the verge of a panic attack (impending doom, hot flashes, fast heart rate). My doctor is encouraging me to stick with it, and I read that with this med it gets worse before it gets better? Has anyone else experienced this?

Well after reading all these comments (thank you everyone for providing insight (that my PCP was struggling to give me) my PCP recommended stopping taking it. It sounds like it is great for treating depression (which I don’t have) but is not so great at treating people with anxiety/panic disorders such as myself. They referred me to a psychiatrist to better manage my anxiety, but for now I am stopping it and figuring out next steps. Thank you to everyone for the help!!
