I don’t really know why I’m posting this. I guess I just need to say it somewhere.
I have sacrificed weddings, my own birthday, my siblings’ birthdays, and countless hours for this exam. I’ve taken 7 full-length exams and I’ve been trying to review them the “right” way — not just looking at answers, but actually going through mistakes, content gaps, passage interpretation, and why I got things wrong.
After all of that, my score is still around a 487.
I test August 22, and honestly, I feel tired, exhausted, and numb. I don’t know if I can do medicine. I don’t know if this means I’m not built for this, or if I’m just burned out, or if I need to change something completely.
I know people say “just keep going,” but it’s hard when you feel like you’ve given up so much and the score still isn’t moving the way you need it to.
I’m not looking for pity. I guess I’m looking for advice from anyone who has been here before. How do you know when to keep pushing versus when to step back? Has anyone been stuck this low and figured out what was actually holding them back?
Thanks for listening.📚 Using energy gives me serotonin, so I dont cry. An energy drink does the trick
