There is someone who I met 1 year and two days ago, approximately. She has truly captured my soul in the most profound way, and we had talked on the phone in late September. Doing so, she actually opened up to me revealing her feelings. However because of hypervigilance from trauma I did not know how to appropriately respond. Our interaction was profound when we met. I have NOT been able to call her on a recorded phone conversation (her work line) without the feeling of pure terror running through my body. Partly because even at an older age, I have never felt such a warm connection with another human being. I am afraid that she feels I wasn't interested. Not so. Has the door shut? Would she hear me if I had explained?
