Hi there! This is my first time traveling outside of Asia and I'm about to study in Cluj Napoca.

Just curious, what kind of cultural shocks should I prepare for? Anything about daily life, people, food, social norms, or things that might feel totally different from Asia?

Hi everyone! I was awarded the Romania–Vietnam Scholarship 2026 and will start at Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) on 28 September 2026.

Has anyone from another country received a similar scholarship at UBB and already got their acceptance letter? When did you receive yours?

I emailed UBB and they said they’ll send it once everything is signed. Just wondering how long it usually takes since I plan to book the flights soon. Thank u a lot! 😊
