Finally installed a 3D printed mirror mount mobile holder clamp on my Ather 450X 🔥
Worth trying for anyone looking for a simple and affordable mobile mounting setup for the Ather 450 series.

My scooter is still new, but this particular switch already started peeling off. Other switches are fine. Expected better quality from a premium EV.
Will Ather replace this under warranty?
Update* Raised ticket to Ather Support.
Got a call from the Ather Service Centre Nearby. They will be replaced in Doorstep.
Absolutely loving the ownership experience so far. The performance, pickup, ride quality, handling and software experience have all been excellent. The scooter feels smooth, refined and fun to ride every single day.
Charging convenience and low running cost are a huge bonus compared to my previous petrol vehicle. No regrets after buying this machine — easily one of my best decisions.
Recently I started hearing a strange sound from my Ather 450X HR while riding.
Not sure if it’s coming from the bearing, motor, belt, suspension, or brakes.
Update
After doing a jet wash at home, I especially cleaned around the belt area and disc section.
I checked the actual power consumption of my Ather 450X using a Wipro smart plug.
Charging details:
Battery level: 20% → 100%
Total charge added: 80%
Battery Optimization: ON
EB units consumed: 2.38 kWh
Based on this, a full 0–100% charge should consume around 3 units including charging losses.
My last EB bill:
₹2975 for 610 units in Tamil Nadu.
Approx cost per unit: ₹4.88
So charging cost comes to:
Around ₹11–12 for 20% → 100%
Around ₹14–15 for full charge
Looks pretty efficient in real-world usage.
Anyone else measured using smart plug?
I recently purchased an Ather 450X HR variant and noticed something odd — the charger serial number doesn’t match the one mentioned in the invoice.
I recently bought a new bike, and I was informed that Factory Mode is still enabled. The showroom person said they will disable it only after the number plate is received and updated in their system.
Is this the standard process for new bike delivery?
Also, what exactly do ECW and EBW activated, and should I check anything related to these before delivery?
