Ive been in here for a good while. I’ve been in an alert 1, sometimes 2 for a while now. I’ve cleared 8+ landmarks. No Stabilization Agents and no key for boxes.
I mean I can’t even open a landmark box let alone extract, WTH? They have to provide options for opening boxes. All the little boxes I open are dz resources. How do you get keys to open the LM boxes??
They arrive in a team. You call for extraction. They kill all hunters before you get a shot on. It should be same as the boxes. If you are there shooting, you should get the drops from all hunters, regardless if you hit each one. Discourages solo play.
Same with the landmark bosses. If you don’t get a bullet on the boss you don’t get a chance for a Stabilization Agent. BS, especially if you are taking care of business in your area.
Also didn’t the devs say that a visit to the checkpoint would cleanse your toxicity? Well that’s not working.
Additionally, I did hear the devs say that PvP DZ would give 2 exotic components from the landmark crates. Went to both PvP dz today and rank the boxes a few times. Only ever got 1 exotic component at a time. Did I hear that wrong.
I went into the New PvE DZ and camped at the Eastern Extraction, it’s the most popular. I didn’t farm for Stabilization Agents or gear to extract. I just waited until folks came to extract. I helped with hunters. I got one exotic for every hunter I hit. I got 9 exotics in just over 20 minutes. (During that time I was engaged in self grooming tweezing nostril hairs and clipping nails. 😉)
When my toxicity lvl hit 300 I let myself get killed and when I respawn it’s all gone.
The more people at the extraction the better for hunter spawn and each hunter drops one exotic. Easy as that.
I wouldn’t do this in a group since each dz only takes 12 agents. You want everyone else farming for Stabilization Agent
The extractions locations have the ammunition boxes, so you won’t run out.
Assuming you have a build and DZ keys. Assuming you want Exotic components.
Farm DZ Land Marks until everyone on your team has a Stabilization Agent and at least one thing to extract. Don’t farm DZ for fear or guns. Break them down for the DZ Resource.
Go to extraction that has the most people. That way each extraction will spawn the maximum hunters possible and each hunter killed will drop 1 exotic component when killed.
after the hunters are dead run through each hunter drop to automatically collect your exotic component.
Only the person that call the extraction should hook up their bag to extraction. Everyone else needs their bag to call for an extraction. They can extract but if they do so they won’t be able to use their Stabilization Agent until they get something to extract. I always leave a drop on the ground if I have an exotic or an excellent gear or gun that I really want. That way I can fill my bag.
Then the next person can call for an extraction. Rinse and repeat until no one has a Stabilization Agent. You only get to hold one Stabilization Agent at a time. So remember where any extra dropped for you when you were farming. Ensure you shoot off early in your group and go back solo for the extra one if it’s not too far away. There is a time limit on how long it will stay on the ground.
6). Do not take anyone’s stuff if they get killed. If you do then when they return they won’t be able to call an extraction. What’s more important to you, a chance at 4 exotics or a few DZ resources and trash gear? (I will remove your exotic from your dropped loot and leave the rest…..just saying —-don’t die)
If you finish your extraction don’t leave if other people are around especially if they shoot at you. It’s not a sign of aggression is a request for you to stay so more hunters spawn, and more exotics for everyone.
So far DZ West PvE is deleting so that Eastern extraction is more popular. The Souther extraction is a good one but the Norther extraction should be avoided by newbies….too many things and places for hunters to hide.
After you have all extracted go farm Stabilization agents again. Rinse and repeat.
I’m currently at 999 exotics. Last Tuesday I was under 300. In the week Ives also expertised 3 items and prototyped them.
Oh and the BS about folks coming in with skill builds to wipe people is BS. The Hunters have skills.
In 1.5 hours of farming extraction point Hunters in a team of 4 here is what I came away with. 65 Exotic components and 1 Eagle Bearer and 2 Ravenous Rifles. 1 of my teammates got 2 Ravenous also and a third got 1 Ravenous.
Earlier in the day I got 1 Ravenous and about 30 exotics. Bringing my Ravenous haul to 3 for the day.
Here what we did. First do a landmark for the Stabilization bottle. Then head to the extraction. When you call for an extraction the Hunters will spawn. It’s a tough fight but each hunter will drop an exotic component. The Hunters also dropped the Rav and the EB. At least one guy should not extract all of his stuff. That guy should have a stabilization bottle. He calls for the next extraction when the extraction point is ready. Rinse and repeat. When no more stabilization bottles are left do another landmark. Repeat. It’s not tedious or boring.

Updat 1 : Just been in the PvE Dark Zone for 40 mins again this evening with 3 pals. I picked up a second Ravenous and and Eagle Bearer. 2 of the other guys got the Ravenous as well. So again, I’m no braggart, but
Update 2: Just finish and after 1 and a half hours in DZ PvE here are the results for our 4 man team. I got 65 exotics components, 2 Ravenous Rifles and one Eagle Bearer. That brings my daily Ravenous count to 3. I didn’t keep track of my exotics I got this morning but I think it was around 30 or so.

Just rerolled an Investor mask. It disappeared immediately after reroll. A second Investor mask disappeared at the same time.
I won’t be sticking around if this BS continues. I got the gear. I’m building and everything comes to a halt. WCBS is this?
Got my Whiplash yesterday. Favourited it immediately and took a 3 minute break. Came back and it was gone. Very upsetting.
Been on for an hour today mucking about. Couldn’t pick anything up although I only had 144 items in inventory. Just fast travelled to NY and the Whiplash is back.
My advice to you is to favourite the gun as soon as you get it. Cause there were other things that went missing that I picked up from that mastery mission and they did not come back. They were not favourited.
This is a great new feature. One suggestion for improvement is that when you exit, it would be nice if the system but you back where you started rather than at the top of your inventory or stash. It’s a QoL issue.
Ask any honest player and they all say the same thing….too many cheaters is the reason they don’t go into the DZ.
I into 2 rogues fighting each other. Clearly friends. I hit the first one with an entire clip of equivalent of a 6.5 red Pestilence hitting for 150k. The dude had nothing left just a bump representing his health. The tics didn’t finish him, however, he just walked away after killing me. He didn’t even kit up. Eventually I did the exact same thing to the second guy. I got the exact same result. Neither kitted before or after. Just walked away.
This is why the vast majority of division 2 player refuse to enter the DZ. Ban these dudes Yanic!!! Or at least put them in a server all to themselves. You are letting them and their Zen scripts ruin your game and drive people out of what should be a fun give and take PvP experience. Just utter BS!
What a joke. I’ve been in dz south for 3 hours and not one air drop. They need to fix this.
The Technician Specialization gives you the talent “Faraday Field”. Drop a sniper turret at your feet and you create a Faraday Field that protects anyone within 5m of the turret from electrocution. It allows you to stay in cover and not get shocked into a standing position. The field seems smaller than the 5m though.
It’s a Quality of Life issue. Swapping gear back and forth to utilize proto cores is a waste of actual playing time.
