The Duality of Dads: The Crash / Worst Ex Ever
I think both sets of parents in The Crash and Worst Ex Ever's "Deadpool Killer" were put in impossible positions. As a parent, you want to protect your child at all costs, but each family took a very different approach.
Mackenzie's parents (100% pos' btw) seemed focused on protecting her from the consequences of her own actions, while Wade's father was trying to protect Wade from himself and, by extension, from the people he could hurt. I thought it was especially powerful to see Wade's father's compassion extend beyond his own son.
Despite Wade being sick, he was also able to empathize with and show compassion toward the parents of his son's victims. Wade's dad is a hero while Mackenzie's are accomplices
