Must see,do and eat

Hi everyone,

My daughter will be living in Ho Chi Minh City for about 6 months, and I'll be coming to visit her. (From the Netherlands)

I'd love to get some local recommendations for the absolute must-see places in and around the city. Tourist attractions are welcome, but I'm especially interested in places that locals love.

I'm looking for recommendations for:

• Must-see sights and hidden gems

• Great cafés (from trendy coffee spots to local favorites)

• Fun bars, rooftop bars, and places with a good atmosphere

• The best restaurants for authentic Vietnamese food

• Street food stalls that are worth going out of your way for

• Local dishes that I absolutely shouldn't miss

• And most importantly: where can I find the best Vietnamese spring rolls in the city? Fresh or fried, I'm happy to try them all!

Many thanks in advance

Fluids in checked bagage

My daughter is flying from Amsterdam Schiphol (The Netherlands) to Vietnam via Doha with Qatar Airways.

I am trying to find out how much liquid she is allowed to carry in her checked baggage (hold luggage).

I have found conflicting information online. Some sources mention a maximum of 1,000 ml, while others suggest higher amounts are allowed.

Could you please clarify what the actual limit is for liquids in checked baggage on this route?

Thank you for your help.

Gadgetbag 'Het Nieuwsblad'

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone here might be able to help 😊

I’m looking for a gadget bag that Het Nieuwsblad handed out at Rock Werchter about 10 years ago.

My boyfriend cherished it all that time, but unfortunately it didn’t survive the last 10 editions of Werchter…

Does anyone happen to still have one lying around that they no longer use?

Unfortunately, Het Nieuwsblad itself wasn’t able to help me.

Many thanks in advance!
