I am very new to collecting airline points and this is my first booking using points.

I have booked the following: 2 x return/round-trip economy flights from UK to Caribbean (via Amsterdam)

Flights were booked using Virgin Reward points but flights are operated by KLM.

Total cost for return/round-trip flights for 2 adults: 56,000 points and £442 taxes. The cash price for the same flights would be £2352 total.

I am happy with my booking but have since read that using points for long haul economy flights is often really poor value. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into whether I got a good deal, just so I know for if I see similar offers in future.
