Wanted to share some of the chamfering + Rehaut work done this week.

Rehaut - we’ve seen a number of Rehauts polished excessively, almost to a mirror-like surface. Genuine Rehaut polish retains a very fine brushed finish.

Chamfering - removing too much material widens the bevels and compromises the original profile. On the Gen bracelet the chamfers are exceptionally narrow and barely visible.

Refinement lies in persevering these subtleties.

Four seasons, four unique Daytonas. Rolex’s 2026 “Four Seasons” collection pairs natural stone dials with precious metals and coloured gemstones: chrysoprase and purple sapphires for Spring, turquoise and pink sapphires for Summer, yellow mookaite and green tourmalines for Autumn, and blue opal with gradient sapphires for Winter.

Each is a true one-of-one, heading to auction with Phillips in London on 28 September, with all proceeds supporting Roger Federer’s Federer Foundation and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Re:wild. Based on the reported original CHF 4 million asking price for the collection and buyer offers reportedly reaching US$10 million, a speculative combined auction range would be US$5–10 million across the four watches, potentially higher, this is an indicative projection, not an official Phillips estimate.
