Former 49ers Season Ticket Holder reflection
Not trying to just complain here since we all know how the business works, but the year-over-year price hikes are getting completely insane. I'm just dropping this here to give my fellow Niners fans some raw intel.
Here is how my total invoice (multiple same seats) played out:
- 2021–2022: $7,400
- 2022–2023: $9,900 (I chalked this up to post-COVID demand)
- 2023–2024: $10,850
- 2024–2025: $13,224 (this is where I tapped out and sold all my SBLs a little less then what I paid for em')
- 2025–2026: ~$15,000 (Glad I did before the bill came in!)
That is double the cost in just five years. I don't know how this is even close to sustainable - but we live in a K shaped economy I guess.
I also hold season tickets for the Giants and the Warriors, and while those have definitely climbed, their increases are nowhere near this kind of aggressive surge. Kept those as they are still 'reasonable' from my opinion.
Again, just giving you all some info, do with it what you will.
