He said it like it was already decided and I just kind of stood there for a second, not even processing it properly

We were in the garage, I’d been working all week fixing up this old bike I bought. Like actually putting time into it… cleaning, replacing parts, watching random videos late at night to figure stuff out. My hands still smelled like oil which is whatever but still

Then my friend’s friend walks in, looks at it, and just sits on it like it’s his. I thought he was joking but he starts saying he’ll take it out later because he “actually needs a ride.” I just stood there like… what

I told him I haven’t even used it yet and he goes “yeah but you won’t use it properly anyway” which?? who says that

Apparently my friend told him earlier that I might sell it, which I never said. Now he’s acting like he’s entitled to it

I got annoyed and told him to fix his own stuff instead. Now everyone’s acting like I overreacted

I don’t know, it just didn’t feel like he was asking at all
