How do you deal with Zambian parents?I chose not to believe the norm of “Lusaka is for Business “ and decided to give myself a chance . I found myself in a talking stage with someone but things ended in a ripple effect. I’m honestly so embarrassed because it felt too good to be true. I was so excited about it, and now I feel silly for telling my parents about it in the first place. Not sure if I should have a pretend boyfriend to cover up my shame or just bear the repercussions?
Has this ever happened to anyone here? What was your conclusion?
