How much do BLACK walls matter?
We've all seen the clip of white vs velvet black https://hometheaterphotos.com/projector2/projectiondream.mp4
But when picking a colour for wall paint, how much difference does BLACK make vs, for example, a dark grey?
Currently stuck on if I go full black or a darker grey. Room is basically a dedicated theatre room but it flows through from the lounge and is open most of the time so I prefer the aesthetics of it being slightly lighter.

Is there such a thing as a *provoked* genocide?
I just had this thought, she says what happened yesterday on Ghorman was unprovoked genocide.
But in the dark history of such atrocities, was there ever an instance where a population would be described as to have "provoked" this fate?

I'm in New Zealand and looking for a new pair of closed back headphones. I currently have Audeze Mobius (planars) and love them but the continual repair of their crappy plastic is getting to me. Budget of up to $700 USD but I can go over if there's a reason that's actually worth it.
I work from home so will wear them constantly, wired is best but open to options that are wireless, closed back preferable. Have a microphone already.
I'm quite the audio nerd but haven't entirely cared about my headphones too much before, but I do appreciate good sound quality, and am not super into the typical (these days) V-shaped profile. Game as well, but that's not particularly important.
