Im pretty new to iNat and recently saw a youtube video where someone got obsessed with birds and tried to "collect" sightings of every single bird that was spotted in his area. Does iNat have such a function? I'd love to be able to check how many of the bug species found in my area I've found and uploaded. Something like "Found 12/1454 of insect species spotted in your area"
2 of my Pseudacanthops lobipes females have recently reached adulthood. For some reason my male is taking a lot longer even though they're all about the same age. Online I read a lot about a 2 week waiting period for females before attempting to pair them but I cant find a lot about males.
My female Pseudocanthops lobipes has turned adult around a week ago. I didn’t notice at first because her wings usually cover her abdomen but it appears that her abdomen has a spot with black goo (blood?) leaking out. Even though it looks like liquid it’s definitely solid so maybe an older injury? She still acts normal and eats without issues. Should I be worried? Any advice?
