Why do you think Ben Rice isn't getting attention from the national baseball writers?

I know he missed some time but he's 8th in fWAR, 1st in slugging, and 1st in wRC+. Fangraphs wrote an article about him back on April 15th, but nothing since. It seems like he should be a bigger story than he is.
