Hit 10VP before the conflict concluded, then won with sandworms --> +2 VP, +2VP from paying 12 solari, +1VP from matching icon, +1VP from endgame icon match. Been doing not so hot in these online matches so it's nice to get a big win
Hey all, thanks to the suggestion of the community, I recently bought Bloodlines, and my friends and I have been enjoying this new addition to Uprising. I have several questions about the best way to play Bloodlines, but this one comes to mind first: how do you play Sardaukar Commanders? Perhaps because we're still adjusting to our playstyle from Uprising, where Solari wasn't as valuable (usually just to get Swordmaster), it's hard for us to find the Solari to dump into Sardaukar Commanders (until maybe late-game, when they don't seem as valuable). Additionally, they just don't seem too strong - they add an extra 2 strength to the combat once (and then you have to pay 2 Solari to get them back out of your supply), and the skills seem nice but rather minimal (an extra persuasion, an extra spice, 1-3 more daggers, etc.). Could someone help us to understand their value? What are we missing? Do we have to go all-in on Sardaukar Commanders and get 3+ so that the skills stack? Are they worth getting before Swordmaster and potentially delaying Swordmaster (right now, the extra action economy feels a lot stronger for us than getting Sardaukar Commanders). Hey all, my friend group and I have been playing Uprising since it was released, and played base Imperium for a good while before that. None of us tried Immo+Ixo.
With that context, would you recommend getting Bloodlines? I looked over mechanics and cards briefly when it released, and know that there is some overlap with Immo+Ixo. Is the learning curve steep for people who have only played base and Uprising (too many new mechanics)? Can it be combined with Uprising?
