PvP in Turtle Wow 1.18.1 patch has some major issues

Since its likely to remain in the current state for awhile, for those who do not know, the TW devs overhauled PvP in their final major content update.

They added multiple sets of PvP gear with resilience stat on it, the blue set will gives ~20%, iL77 Epic ~30% and iL93 Epic (Arena Conquest Points) ~40%.

Resilience is similar to Blizzard in WotLK, it reduces crit damage and dot damage by that flat % amount.

The gear also has a lot of stam, making everyone very "resilient", burst damage is basically gone.

On top of this, they also added a PvP BG-wide debuff called "dampening" for players, melee classes -20% dmg, casters -30% dmg.

Before the server was yeeted by Blizzard, 60 PvP is hilariously bad like retail wow where everyone is a damage sponge, and healers are impossible to kill unless its 3v1.

For context, a Nax geared Mage will be doing MC level dps with just the dampening alone. But the -crit damage added, it basically deletes the crit bonus in the talent tree. T3 geared Frostbolt hits for 600 dmg, crits for 900. Warriors have 7,000HP without flask.

And if casters have t1 gear, you can forget about it, 2.5s spell casts for 400 dmg, may as well tickle them.

Heals are untouched. Holy Paladins with plate armor and infinite Holy Shock (new talents), and 1.5s Holy Light casts are basically god mode.

The meta shifted towards stacking Warriors backed up with healers. Casters will OOM themselves trying to kill melee + healers and threat of burst dmg is gone.

It isn't classic PvP, its retail.
