My best years were in chandigarh. :)

I've moved back to my hometown and invested lakhs into renovating my parents' house, even adding an entire floor on top so I'd have a space of my own to work from home. It was a practical decision and one I'm grateful for.

Yet I can't help finding myself drawn back to Chandigarh. I keep inventing excuses to visit the City Beautiful.

I was lucky enough to spend three years there, during the twilight of my twenties, and they remain some of the best years of my life. The tree-lined roads, the cafés, the familiar corners of the city, spontaneous weekend bike rides into the hills, and, above all, the people, I miss all of it.

Visting some of these photos reminds me of that dialogue from the office by Andy Bernard "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them"

Her first road trip. Bullet 650

Took her out on a 700 km road trip, and she didn’t miss a beat. Having owned an Interceptor before, I can confidently say this bike feels noticeably more comfortable for long rides. The engine is tuned to feel relaxed and tractable in the city, but the torque is right there whenever you ask for it. My only wish is that the clutch were a bit lighter. And no, thankfully I didn’t have to deal with a single puncture along the way. 😄
