Motor noise

Any fix to this problem? I was hoping I could fix it before having to build a new frame and having to redo the whole setup process. This only happens at incremental height increase. Going from lowest to highest or highest to lowest is smooth and makes no noise. When I go from 28” to 39” that happens. Sometimes it reaches a point and just work smoothly like midway through the height change. Before it was just a noise at the very end of the change but now it is the whole way through

Sitting height

Cable Management

First time experiencing and owning a sit stand frame/desk. I reuse my tabletop to save money and just bought the frame.

Arrived in 2 days, very happy with shipping time

Assembly

Instructions were not too complicated, however make sure your tabletop is thick enough. I had an ikea bekant tabletop which is on the thinner side (5/8"), and I hand tighten most of the screws to avoid it going through, those where hand tighten was harder I drilled slowly. The rubber gromets and thicker ends on the control box luckily avoided any screws from poking through, but the baffle ends were thin and did puncture my tabletop. Realized I had smaller screws, and changed it out for those to avoid pointy ends. The punctures are smaller, and is a smaller cosmetic damage that I am not too bothered by, but be careful. When screwing in cream spot on the transmission rod it did not sit full or tight, looked a bit off and could not find videos to see if this was correct, but it is working fine. Rubber grommets for handset/buttons were unnecessary difficult to put those the oval hole since the rubber grommets are circular. The rest of the assembly went well, but two people is very helpful as this frame was extremely heavy.

Height Adjustment/Stability

Smooth, noise was not bothersome, and wobble was not noticeable with my regular use (keyboard and mouse movement). Does wobble if pushed with force, more wobble laterally then forward/back. The height adjustments itself was very stable and did not have any issue. Height is accurate to display (24"-45.7" not including the height of the tabletop.) I also 5'7", and this height range was perfect for me. Sitting I use 24.8", I wanted to go to 24", but the frame would hit my legs so that is unfortunate. My standing height is 38". It is able to accommodate my walking pad at 41.5". And the max height 45.7" allows me to fit my chair in, albeit I have to lean back a bit so I don't hit my head, but allows to comfortably manage cables and adjustments underneath. I do notice sometimes you have to hold or double press the buttons to wake up the machine, instead of just clicking once if the display is off. It took about 22-24 seconds to get from the bottom to top and vice versa with just my regular items on top.

Weight

I do not have much weight on the desk itself, <100 lbs. However with my bodyweight (170 lbs) and my monitors/pc/peripherals the motors remain the same as when it was just the empty table. Hanging on it was solid too.

Paint

When peeling off the protective film of the flexispot logo the black paint just ripped off inside the "o". I simply filled it in with a black sharpie, but was ashamed it came off so easily from just peeling off the film. So I do not know how well the paint would hold up if you had a cat or something that scratches it even lightly.
