42M first time with a newborn

As the title says, I have a newborn that’s 3 weeks old and I think the sleep deprivation and stress have gotten to be and caused this shingles outbreak on my upper back. Dr prescribed Valtrex, but from what I’ve read online, it causes a lot of dizziness, tiredness, anxiety. I’m already a health anxious person and I don’t want my head to be going anymore crazy while trying to take care of my baby. Has anybody been ok without taking the Valtrex? How long does it usually last?

Is elevated sleeping safe??

First time dad here with a 9 day old daughter and we’re have been in the TRENCHES. Baby sleeps amazingly during the day for some reason (probably because she mostly sleeps on us). But during the nights, she absolutely hates her bassinet. I’m thinking she might suffer from reflux. I keep seeing these elevated wedges for babies with colic or reflux or don’t sleep well and I’m wondering if it’s safe for her to sleep on one in her bassinet/crib. The one I found is from a company called Pishuw. Everything I’m reading says the baby should only sleep completely flat. But I noticed the bassinet in the hospital was a bit elevated at an angle. Should I purchase this and is it safe???
