I did till BST and now i have 2 options either do Tries and segment trees before graph or do graph then do tries and segment trees. Can someone suggest me what should i do as tries is a little difficult for me

entering my sem 3 with this

The topics i am now comfortable is stacks, queue, hashmap and linked listtopics covered two pointers, queue, stack, linked list, trees, hashmap, hashset also i can now do the easy questions without looking for solution of the easy topics i am comfortable with and some medium questions with hints, but for topic like trees i struggle a lot i can do easy ones sometimes and i am learning BST and binary trees still it is tough for me.

dsa and some doubt regarding tech

https://preview.redd.it/sla96v7ht98h1.png?width=829&format=png&auto=webp&s=d107697ea116369feb0663589fbc619cda8d600e

So I am a first year student(tire 3) and my 1st year just ended, 2nd year to start in a month

topics done - linked list, hashmap, binary search, recursion, stacks, queue

and i am starting trees

i still have problems in figuring out the approach for some new unseen medium level problem and sometimes i can figure out the data structure and for old problems i am able to now figure out the algo used and somewhat the code.

i learnt java properly and doing mysql and want to become a backend dev

so my doubt is: i am seeing a lot of posts regarding layoffs, company in loss, hiring freeze will i be able to stand out and get a good placement in next 4 years and if you have any suggestion or any suggested tech stack do share 😃

Advice needed for dsa

so i am at a point where for the old topics i had done i am able to write the algorithms used for the problem and visualize what should happen in the approach and identify the data structure used but when i start to code i realize i cant code it properly or atleast not completely from scratch and i have to see my previous submissions or ask ai for help.
I do atleast 5 problems daily which includes 1 new problem and 4 old problem but if i am free then i do more like 15 to 20 which includes 4 to 5 new and rest revision

I have done 182 problems and i have 643 submissions and i started doing leetcode from March 2026 (a few months back)

The topics i have done is binary search, hashmap, hashset, two pointers, stack, queue, linked list

I started to do trees but realised i need to do more recursion before i can do trees so im thinking to start recursion.

Please let me know that is there something if i'm doing wrong (also i am unable to do completely new problems of medium or very rarely easy levels)
