Has anyone used Lakeflow Designer yet? What was your experience?
I was at a booth at DAIS, and we had a lot of questions on how our product was different than Lakeflow Designer, so I'm curious to hear from the Databricks community what your thoughts are on it.
Now that we have AI, which can summarize and explain code really well, do you think visual workflow tools (like Alteryx, KNIME, etc.) will be needed in the future for data analysts and business analysts?
I feel like there are a million tools out there to solve the spreadsheet sprawl and manual data work problems, but soo much work is still done in Excel. Important business processes, especially in finance, have these crazy workbooks with a whole page of instructions. Why??
EDIT: I know there are still plenty of times when a spreadsheet is the right tool, but for complex processes, I am questioning why it's still used
