I understand that the Sordland army is divided between two military doctrines: that of the Old Guard and Lancea's so-called mobile warfare. But do we have more information about this in the lore? Is Kruger's doctrine similar to a World War I doctrine, and Lancea's to a blitzkrieg doctrine?
I protected Austria and brought it into the Italian league, but strangely, Hungary also wants to join me. Will they go to war against each other within the alliance? Can I prevent this?
This is my first game as Italy. I wanted to do a Mussolini-Italy First run by forming the Italian League, but Germany isn't launching the invasion of Poland. Why? I protected Austria, but Germany continued its claims, like in Lithuania, and failed miserably. Should I start the war myself?? I wanted to let Germany weaken the Allies before acting opportunistically around 1941-1942, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet in 1939.
