Should have responded.

I tried to talk to you privately but you’ve been ignoring me so here goes. I’m sure I’ll be kicked from the sub and this will be deleted by the moderator and proprietor of Oiwa the leech.

Heads up y’all, another reason to avoid Oiwa. I have been trying to get a response for days over using my truck in their listings without my permission. I assume I’m being ignored so here is the blast.

He is reselling the Xpert Accessories S110P bumper at a ridiculous markup adding $385.80 in profit. I did give Xpert permission so if you’re in the market for a great bumper get it straight from the manufacturer, Xpert.

Sleek new S110P Hijet Roof Rack

This is NOT self promotion. This is NOT my product.

I have waited for years for the right roof rack to come along and man am I glad I waited. This is a new product prototype from a guy in New Hampshire (not me haha). It does mount through the roof but includes a pretty clever 3 way sealing system to prevent leaks. Price is $399. Side rails are laser cut and the rails are 80/20 T slot aluminum extrusion. Everything is powder coated. Rear heavy weight is transferred to the rain gutter since it is so much stronger. For now it’s just for the S110P but he believes this may also fit the S200 Series. He’s trying to get to one to check fit. Time to get a curved light bar and decide what handy things I want to put up there. It’s going to look incredible with the camper on too.

I don’t know if he’s on this sub but if he is I’ll direct any questions to him. Otherwise I’ll share contact info for him once I have permission.

Dyno numbers as requested

Owiaco you wanted to know so here you go. Not to impressive but now I can work on improvements. The shocking thing is the 1.8hp improvement on the second run by eliminating the hot air directed into the air box from the exhaust. It made a real world difference off the dyno as well. I wish I had torque numbers and being my first ever time on a dyno I didn’t know to ask about the inductance as you mentioned in your post.

Carry springs on a Hijet

I am beside myself right now excited about how this turned out. It’s pouring so a test drive has to wait. The Carry springs on the Hijet worked out great I think. You can see the arch difference between the two and the Carry springs are about an inch shorter which pulled the rear shackles a bit more upright. The only modifications were the parking brake hanger on each side and a couple of spacers in the rear shackle. I got a whopping 2 1/2” of lift and it looks so good in person. Can’t wait to see how it supports the camper.

Joe at G&R set me up with the springs.

Sort of a coincidence

I had no idea until just now that this is an anniversary trip. Quite a difference.

Nasty outside, comfy inside

It’s a rainy, chilly, windy day in Fancy Gap, VA but the camper is very comfortable.

Kei Mountain Goat

Spending a couple of days on the Blue Ridge Parkway for the first time with the camper. The load is about 900 pounds total. Climbing the mountain on a steep back road was slow, 25-35mph, but otherwise it has done great.

Mountain Climbing Kei

Out running the Blue Ridge Parkway for a couple of days. Total weight on the back is about 900 pounds. Climbing the mountain on a back road had me at about 25-30mph but otherwise it’s doing great. Zero heat issues and running very well.
