My first terrain - pump station

Lately in a bit emotional hype I bought on discount FWW. I had only some barricades and barrels from STALKER board game and few paper walls from fantasy that I can use but definitelly nothing enough to cover 3'x3'. Right now I'm aiming for 2'x3' with easy and fast to make paper containers but in long term I'm going to switch to selfmade stuff.

And do I started... My first terrain - a pump station, one of few chemical/industrial terrains I'm going to make.

Ultra light weight inflatable kayaks

I started my journey into kayaks on Intex Excursion 3 years ago. I use to paddle on it on polders and slow current canals, occasionally on lakes. Its really comfortable and suits me well for relaxing paddling, but now I'm looking for something better and allowing me to go in different places - combining with packing and unpacking it again for 1-3 km walk. This is why my main aim are kayaks of minimum weight.

I made a research and found only 2:

  1. Advanced Elements Ultralite - only 8 kg

  2. Sea Eagle EZLite10 - 11 kg

to compare Intex Excursion weight is 17kg

From those two, EZLite10 looks a lot better. From what I see, dropstich floor would make it faster than AE ultralite, so it will in addition allow me for comeback against current on bigger sailing canals.

On the other side AE Ultralight is much lighter and drying it out for 2 days is not big issue for me. In addition I will be on vacations in region with very winding small river. I was there (only small part) a couple on times on hardshell kayaks with friends, but due to low profile of EZLite10 and very winding river I think that AE will suit much better (you are deeper in water so I have feeling it will be harder to overthrown than EZLite). Problem is that AE Ultralight seems to be discontinued right now so I don't think that I will be able to get dropstich floor or splashshield in future for it.

Or maybe do you have any other recommendations? Looking forward to read your opinion before make final decision. Thx in advance.
