I have been very vocal about my frustration with doing Astrology on Claude and ChatGPT here and here..

You see i tried -

1. viral astrology prompts (give birth details and it will do forecasts)
2. copy pasting the data everytime
3. attaching the kundali pdf
4. attaching screenshots.

The problem is that ChatGPT and Claude are language models, not astrology engines. They will makes mistakes in generating Kundali

So I did something different..

Instead of asking AI to generate a Kundali, I created a downloadable Markdown Kundali file containing the important kundali details. The Kundali data is comparable to any benchmarked astrology software.

Now I simply attach that file and start chatting with the AI. Always works perfectly!

Now I dont say that this should be used for making predictions.. but a lot of people use it for their emotional needs and thats where it can help.

I recently asked everyone on Nakshatra subreddit regarding their viewpoint of AI for astrology and there was a common concensus -

Use ChatGPT only for learning purposes.. do not rely for predictions.

However! I have seen A LOT of people use Chatgpt for astrology. So, before going to the next chat, here a few things to keep a few things in mind. (from a guy who is into Astrology and AI)

First… kundali accuracy.

You cannot simply enter birth details and expect perfect chart generation, unless you use a high reasoning model that creates custom script in Python language to generate your kundali. This exhausts a lot of tokens and it still doesn’t calculate a lot of important things such as the shadbala and bhav bal.

Second… hallucination.

Even if you upload a kundali screenshot, these systems often misread placements and confidently give wrong interpretations.

Remember, General LLMs are intelligent liars! :)

Third… prediction depth.

Serious predictions require layered analysis across D1 charts, D9 charts, dasha periods, transits and the relevant divisional charts.

General AI systems are simply not built for that.

Now coming to the biggest issue: while talking to ChatGPT, you know it's limitation but there are AI Astrologers marked as real astrologers!! This has become a trend and this is where you need to be very careful.

If you are going to take a consultation, from ChatGPT, AI astrologers or human astrologers, you should keep in mind a few things so that you are making an informed decision. I have listed these things here.
