How important are lilith, chiron and the nodes to synastry readings?

Sometimes good charts get really complex or karmic when you add these aspects. Do they matter? Or can planetary readings alone present a complete picture?

How to deal with a difficult chart?

My placements are so confusing to start of, I'm a Capricorn rising people see me as serious and dry. I have a pokerface most of the time. Also I plan things out a lot which kinda makes me procastinate, it's confusing bc I'm a 4th house aries stellium that means I like to do things immediatly (my placements are clashing). I also hate being a 4th house stellium bc my family never seems to NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE EVERR. I also have placements aspecting family problems. I have three 12th house placements all in Saggitarius, the worse one is in Mercury I think in my head a lot and don't really listen.

When I said I have a pokerface I laugh a lot at the same time even when some things aren't even funny, and sometimes words I didn't mean to say comes out + I stutter a lot. I also have two 8th house placements Leo mars and Virgo vertex. Please someone help with my bipolar ahh chart.

I'm also a water sun! My big 6 consists of 1 water, 1 earth, and 4 fires.

Is there one place where you can actually see everything happening over the coming months?

Hi everyone!

I'm still new to astrology, and one thing I've been struggling with is getting a clear overview of what's happening over the coming months (or even a whole year).

As I learn more, I find myself jumping between transits, retrogrades, lunar phases, ingresses, and different charts. I can usually find the information I'm looking for, but I struggle to see the "big picture."

I'm wondering how more experienced astrologers approach this.

Which software or websites do you end up using the most during a typical month?

What does it mean when the chart ruler only has aspects to the angles?

Looking at my birth chart I realised my chart ruler only has these hard aspects to points in my chart (asc, dsc, ic, mc) starting with a conjunction to the MC, and there's no aspects to planets what's so ever. I'm wondering, if is that something common? Could have any significance?

Because it's also my dominant planet, idk, it feels bad it's in this bad condition... Anyone has thoughts on this?

Day or Night Chart: Actual sunset time vs. ASC/DSC axis?

Hello! Perhaps this may differ from one astrologer to the next, but when determining whether someone has a day or night chart, what would you weigh more heavily: the actual sunset time or the position of the Sun relative to the ASC/DSC axis in their chart?

Using my own chart as an example:

  • Historical data shows that on my date of birth (based on coords of my birthplace), sunset was recorded to be 3 minutes after my birth time. Based on the actual sunset time, my chart would be considered a day chart
  • My natal chart shows my Sun being below the ASC/DSC axis by a measure of 0°27’ (DSC and Sun at 4°32’ and 4°05’ respectively). So based on this information, I have a night chart.

So in cases like mine, would you consider my chart to be a day chart or night chart -- and why?

How do you interpret planets in 1st house but are not in the same sign of the Ascendant?

I have Ascendant in late Pisces, and Jupiter in Aries in the first house, not conjuncting the Ascendant or anything.

If I look up interpretation online, they would say my personality (Ascendant) look soft, shy and sweet, sensitive, more passive and gentle and emotional (Pisces). But Jupiter in Aries in 1st house mean I look courageous, initiative, bold and even selfish and headstrong as it expands (Jupiter) those traits in my first impression and outwards personality because it's in 1st house, making those Aries traits obvious to outsider

But Pisces tells me i'm sweet and sensitive and gentle as first impression, but so does bold and strong with Jupiter in Aries in 1st house, which one is correct? How do I blend these two things together?

Phenonema with Uranus or Neptune in the name?

Years ago I used to be friends with an older woman who is very well versed in astrology and new age type topics. I mentioned to her that while I was driving I thought I saw brief flashes of what looked like blue lighting or static in my vision. I came at it from a medical concern standpoint. But she immediately called it something else. I don't remember what she called it, but she said it was some phenomena, related Uranus or Neptune. I vaguely remember her calling it something like "Uranus _____" or "_____ of Uranus". Do you have any idea what she could have been talking about?

I never thought much of it ever since and I just chalked up whatever I saw to probably just seeing a flash of a blood vessel or glare off of a car or something. I have since lost touch with this person and I don't have a way to just ask her. This was easily 15+ years ago.

Secondary progression, transit charts, and solar return chart

Hi yall. I wanted to know if all three of these can be used to get an idea how astrology is or is going to affect your life. And how do all three of these relate or effect the natal chart. Any tips or resources are welcome!

Astrology Match Confusion

I 26M am dating my GF 25F. We are Indians and astrology (kundali) is big part of pre wedding matching. I personally don’t believe in it. Finding love is hard enough.

My GF believes in it loosely but our families definitely care about it deeply.

TL;DR: Essentially, I don’t know my birth time and it’s causing some scare because if I was born before a specific hour she thinks her family won’t allow us to get married. I’m anxious as hell. I’m scared that the kundali match will be super weak and cause her to end this 😭.

God, I’m so annoyed cause you could do everything right for yourself and your partner and still have to go through this. I’m not sure how I’ll manage if I am actually born at the time that it doesn’t work for her and her family.

[astro-seek] Why do I view my partners as Friendship Premium™?

Feels like everyone in my life is obsessed with their partner, and even my own partner is upset that I'm not outwardly "romantic and affectionate."

Wondering if there's anything in my chart that indicates why I don't act like that and feel suffocated by someone being "obsessed" with me.

IMO I love my partners the way, I want to be loved: They have my support in what they do and full freedom to do so, but I don't expect them to blend me into their personal activities without them asking for me to join.

Which transits and Solar Return aspects indicate a new relationship?

Hi everyone!

I'm not necessarily asking about your personal experiences (although I'd love to hear them too!), but more about the general astrological indicators.

In your opinion, which transits and/or Solar Return placements or aspects tend to indicate meeting someone significant or starting an important relationship? Are there any combinations that, in your experience, consistently point to a particularly lucky year, especially when it comes to love?

I'm curious about the astrological patterns you've noticed over the years. Thanks in advance!

What’s the difference between having Mercury conjunct MC and Mercury in the 10th house?

I understand an conjunct to the MC could be from the 9th house too, but what I wanted to ask is like I have Mercury conjunct MC with 2 orbs degree in the 10th house. When I read what is written about having Mercury conjunct MC, it’s exactly the same as having Mercury in 10th house, it’s about career in communication, and a job about media and stuff. But if it’s exactly the same thing, what’s the difference between having Mercury conjunct MC vs it’s just in 10th house?

I also have Moon conjunct DC but it’s in 6th house with 3 orbs degree, what I read written about Moon conjunct DC is exactly the same as Moon in 7th house.

Is there anything different if my Moon for example just in 7th house instead of conjunct the DC?

Doubts about Mercury

may be irrelevant but I had a doubt- since Wednesday is controlled by planet mercury and since mercury has- trans/ queer/ neutral sexual orientation or qualities then- every task that we would start or do on Wednesday would have queer/ trans - nature or hints of queernes in it? does it make sense? or its illogical

Should I trust my mother's or my family member's memory of my time of birth?

Who do you think is more likely to be correct, my mother who was giving birth, or my family members who were there?

My mother told me I was born somewhere around 12PM to 12.30PM, but my family members told me it's somewhere from 11AM to 11.30AM and it was not 12PM yet when I was born. Is there anyway I could know for sure who is correct, do you think who's more likely to remember correctly? It was my mother, but they were also there One has Pisces rising, the other one has Aries Pisces, but I relate to both when reading descriptions because both would have Jupiter in Aries in first house

are mercury retrogrades ever good for closing a business/ending a career?

from my (somewhat limited) knowledge, it seems like mercury rx isn't really a time to make big decisions or changes. but i'm wondering if the opposite is ever true? like maybe if a business was started during a mercurcy rx, you were born under a mercury rx, etc., is mercury rx actually a good time to close the door on a certain career or business?

I think I have finally solved the ChatGPT astrology problem

I have been very vocal about my frustration with doing Astrology on Claude and ChatGPT here and here..

You see i tried -

  1. viral astrology prompts (give birth details and it will do forecasts)
  2. copy pasting the data everytime
  3. attaching the kundali pdf
  4. attaching screenshots.

The problem is that ChatGPT and Claude are language models, not astrology engines. They will makes mistakes in generating Kundali

So I did something different..

Instead of asking AI to generate a Kundali, I created a downloadable Markdown Kundali file containing the important kundali details. The Kundali data is comparable to any benchmarked astrology software.

Now I simply attach that file and start chatting with the AI. Always works perfectly!

Now I dont say that this should be used for making predictions.. but a lot of people use it for their emotional needs and thats where it can help.

If anyone wants to try it out.. here's the link. I would love to get your thoughts and feedbacks on this

Saturn Return

Has anyone recently started/finished their Saturn return?

Mine started earlier this year (Saturn in Aries, 12th house) and I'm bricking it.

I'm wondering what to expect? Or even if anyone has any tips/advice on how to ride it out, I'd be grateful x
