Pure bliss

This is Gizmo, he is in his 40s. I inherited him from my uncle whos had him for 20+ years. He is bonded to me but has also taken a liking to my 13 year old daughter now too. He is so funny and talks all day long.

1 year old with severe neutropenia

My daughter at 10 months got a blood test ordered due to not gaining weight as quickly as they wanted. When she got the blood test she had been sick with congestion and a runny nose for over a week. Her neutrophils were 0.4. She was sick for another week. Only symptoms were congestion and runny nose. When she was back to normal we got a repeat blood test about 2.5 weeks after the first one. Her numbers had gone down and we're now 0.1. She has never had an infection or needed antibiotics before. She is now 12 months old and had another test 2 weeks after the last. Her number was still 0.1 and hadn't gone up at all. We were told if she develops a fever to go to the hospital ASAP.

What confuses me is when she was actively sick her number was 0.4 but after a couple weeks of being healthy and her usual happy self, they were 0.1 and now still haven't changed. I am terrified for my baby girl. I am waiting on a call from the pediatric blood specialists at the Vancouver children's hospital to book a phone or zoom appointment since I don't live anywhere near a specialist for this. Her pediatrician mentioned she thinks its either congenital neutropenia or autoimmune.

Is it possible its just prolonged post vital neutropenia? Any idea why the number was 0.4 while sick but over a month and a half later its 0.1 and not getting better?
