need low budget piano option $500-600
So here's my situation, I recently started piano lessons, something I've wanted to do all my life but never got to (I'm 48 now). My piano instructor is fairly inexpensive ($40 for a 30-min lesson weekly), but he requires that I have my own piano, which makes sense because I need to practice. For a while, I was able to get by using the pianos at the local community college, but they have locked the piano rooms for the whole summer. So, I need to get my own now or I can't keep taking lessons.
I'm looking for a low-budget piano option. I am a bit poor and I can afford 500-600 (maaaaaybe 700, but that's putting ability to pay rent at risk). I have seen a lot of reviews on Youtube about the Donner OURA s100 being a great piano at low cost (currently $399 on Amazon), but I've also seen a lot of talk on here about how terrible Donner pianos are. I know that the good brands are Yahama, Roland, Kawai, Korg, but they're all very expensive and basically it's simply not possible for me to afford one.
Looking for suggestions.
