Please Help My Adansonii! 🌱

I got this plant about 3 weeks ago. The plant gets 12 hours of LED light under a Yadoker brand light. It also sits next to a south facing window all day. It was going fine until the original leaf started becoming clear on the green side, then yellow, then greyish brown on the end. I was told it was just from over watering and the plant arrived via shipping waterlogged so I assumed that made the most sense at the time. It was also quickly pushing out a new leaf so I wasn’t worried. Fast forward to yesterday and I realized the new leaf is turning brown by one of the holes. I check for rot and of course there is some. I soaked the roots in a peroxide mix for 7 minutes and trimmed the roots with a sharp pair of scissors I cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Then I cut the rot off of this plant and potted it in a chunky mix of charcoal and coco bark. (It was sadly all I had atm same with the pot) It was originally in mostly coco fiber with some perlite. A few hours after repotting It is beginning to droop because I am drying it out so the cut roots don’t rot. I panicked and packed some sphagnum moss into the holes on the sides of the pot where roots are exposed so they aren’t fully exposed to air. I dripped water down the base of the plant hoping it didn’t touch the freshly cut roots. Today (about 8 hours later) the new leaf is still droopy but the original leaf and stem seem firm. I’m so confused and I don’t want this plant to die!

How do I keep it from wilting while also making sure the injured roots heal? This video was taken before it began drooping this was immediately after the repot. If I can I will include an image of the roots in the comments below this post.

Thank you for reading. I’m so sad about this plant, I’ve wanted it for so long and finally said screw it after being scammed off a seller on Etsy when I paid over $50 for a deliciosa albo which ended up being a Thai.

adansonii albo help!

Why is the old and newest leaf turning brown or yellow?

I have this plant under 12 hours of LED light and it is also by a south facing window, for about 2-3 days my lights timer was set wrong so it was actually getting 16 hours a day plus sunlight. could it be too much light? Do the roots look healthy?

I potted it in a mix of mostly sphagnum, with some coco fiber and husk as well as perlite and charcoal. I gave it this more ventilated cup because I don’t have anything else at the moment.

Villager trading hall tips?

These images are unrelated.

What videos or tips do you guys have for making a villager trading hall? I need mending books so bad lol. I was going to kidnap 2 villagers with a ghast and lock them away and force them to have babies over and over. Then, I was going to separate each one and assign them to tables and swap out their positions. How do I stop other villagers from taking beds and tables from others? How do I teach them to know their damn place in my world.

Good place for creeper spawner?

Using OinkOink’s on YTs creeper farm since it worked on another server when I built it a few months ago.

Is this even going to work? The game updated since I last tried this model. Also, is the area in this video (the dirt platform I’m on) an acceptable place to build said farm? The tutorial specifies it cannot be near any mountains and I’m not sure what really counts as a mountain.

▲ 1 r/PCOS

I am 21 with PCOS, I have not gotten blood work done since the beginning of COVID. I have severely neglected my health! I have some questions / a vent below.

Anyone have information they wish they knew first off about seeking help for this condition?

What foods do you recommend? Both meals and snacks.

How soon after weight loss / treatment have you observed better quality of life?

How do you stay motivated to continue to resist unhealthy food or consume reasonable portions of food as well as to not resist physical exercise?

I want to finally do something about this condition that makes me hate myself when I look in the mirror. I am currently considered concerningly overweight for my height and because of lack of blood work, I am missing so much info about my health. I just know I have PCOS but hormones and blood sugar has been unmonitored. I eat horrifically and get McDonald’s or something similar multiple times a week. I am addicted to carbs which I’m finding may be linked to my PCOS.

Today is the last day I neglect myself. I am going to be reaching out to my primary care doctor and we will be going over the next steps for myself, once I get blood work done, I think I may be able to start a weight loss medication.
