Need advice on my former manager behavior?

I was working as a contractor last year, like most contractors, I wished to get a permanent full-time position, so I asked my manager for more responsibilities so I could make a case for her to give me a full-time role after my contract. I neither received any additional responsibilities, nor did she give me any useful advice on career development.

I still maintained good behavior, and we usually went out for coffee or tea during breaks, just as I did with other colleagues. I thought that maybe it was all about staying calm rather than being a workaholic by asking for new responsibilities, so I remained patient.

I saw her hiring people from outside for the same level, but I remained patient until the very last month of my contract. I did not ask for a permanent position this last month, but she extended my contract.

That last month, I was not sure if I would get an extension, so, as anyone else would do, I started looking for positions both in other departments and outside TD.

Luckily, I got a position outside TD. Even though she extended my contract, I gave her two weeks' notice as required by my contract. She asked if I could stay for three weeks or a month, but due to the urgency of the new employer, I was unable to do so. However, I assured my manager that I would be able to create SOPs and easily teach others how to handle my tasks within two weeks. (She put her for employment verification/reference, she did gave reference for this other position during my 2 week notice, when I was in duty handover process.)

I was able to hand everything over with detailed SOPs that even an 18-year-old could follow. I held multiple sessions with the team, and they signed off on my handover work.

I did all of this to be professional and avoid burning bridges. On my last day, I returned my laptop and left a thank-you note for my manager for the opportunity.

Eight months later today, when I saw a new position at TD in a different department, I thought I would reach out to my former manager on LinkedIn for a reference. When I messaged her, she blocked me. I checked using a friend's LinkedIn profile and confirmed that she had not deleted or deactivated her account; she had actually blocked me.

Now, even though I could get a reference from someone else, many projects ask for the name of my manager at TD for verification purposes. I am not sure how to handle this situation.

Effect of Vyvanese on Undiagnosed ADHD!

Long post but appreciate if with genuine ADHD can read and help. I am not asking for medical advice.

I believe that I have ADHD but I always try to ignore as coming from conservative family, I was always scared of the stigma associated with mental health condition. I am not surez even if I have ADHD where on spectrum I lie.

Last year November 2025, one of my friend who is a College student got Vyvanse 60mg from his friend. We split them and had 30mg roughly. We planned this on weekend because both of us was kinda scared that we might up ending cleaning houses for whole day or maybe Heart rate will shoot very much.

Below is my notes as I was writing everything down -

Tex - 60 mg was split into 30 mg capsule, taken 12:50 pm.

15-30 min: Started to kick in, about 10-20%.

1 hour: My mind felt calm, "like no noise." Focus was up a little, not hugely, and less than I expected. I could still scroll Instagram.

2:30 pm: More focused, calm, no urge to scroll, happy working on my AI project. No stress, jealousy or envy or Cold hands.

3:20 pm: I weren't getting a lot more work done, but I weren't tense. I felt optimistic about building my current career instead of switching.

Self-rating: Calm and relaxed "100%." Focus and attention unsure. I felt it wasn't placebo and that I should see a psychiatrist.

Never felt this before: I'd felt focused before, but never this calm, and never focused and calm together.

Medication attitude: 4 out of 10. I'd prefer lifestyle changes but doubt I could manage that big a change.

Heart rate: 65 to 85 bpm throughout, settling to 70-75.

5.11 pm: The calm was clearly fading, and I felt about 25-50% back to baseline. I didn't record a crash.

I never had felt this nice before. Might be when I was still a child but might be 2 decades back. Next morning I could remeber how I used to feel, kinda like my brain re-wired. I didn't wanted/had urge to take that pill again for like 4-5 days.

Why I feel I might have ADHD is me switching careers, domains, jobs very often. I had switched from doing bachelors degree in mechanical engineering to later doing post grad in Supply Chain management and then when I got Supply chain job, then I switched to Data Analysis in Logistics company, then to Software development in Consulting company, then to Business Analyst in Banking to some tech roles in cybersecrity. Mostly I feel my performance is very great, my mind subconsciously ignore tickets that seems very tough. At the end, I am not doing my best in my career. I am chasing every gold looking thing and never get to pinacle to that careers domain. Maybe I lost my interest too often.

I am ingnoring my family because of this to the point, they sometimes feels like villains.

I am not sure if its just be normal or maybe getting diagnosed would be better. I dont want to be dependent on a stimulant but my personal/career life is impacting a lot.
