I just started working there and I don’t know
I don’t want to let anyone down, but I’m not sure if this is worth it. I worked in the back with stocking, putting tags on clothes and organizing them on hangers. I did that for seven hours and my feet started hurting. I messaged my boss and asked if I could get shorter hours on my next shift and he said they’ll adjust. They haven’t been adjusted yet. There was also a health violation I saw and when I mention it the manager said “We’ll take a look at it” and “Thanks for your feedback”. They pay is $10 an hour. This is a brand new location. Also, when my shift was over I asked for the sign out sheet. The other manager said she needs to look for it, but she kept working on the compressor. After a few minutes I left and clocked out on my phone. I haven’t even had the chance to be a cashier. I applied for the stocking position, but my manager said cashier would be best suited for me. On the grand opening I see that I’m doing compt work not cashier. Originally it was a 9 hour shift. I wasn’t spending 9 hours on my feet. That’s too much. That’s why I asked for shorter hours. My feet can’t handle it. They also don’t train you for the stocking position. On the only day I worked another employee had to teach me. I didn’t want to constantly ask the managers or supervisors because they have their own thing going on. From what I see it’s very disorganized.
