Looking to get shin pads for roller hockey and thinking to get them much smaller than what I use for ice. I don’t see why they should go any lower than feathering the top of skate tongue. We play w plastic puck which I think wouldn’t penetrate through that mm gap, but then get to enjoy lower weight, more mobility, and less heat build up. I’d be greatful to hear experience/opinion on this
