Ok so something I have never quite understood is why a withdrawal can sometimes lead to additional verification when the account has already been verified.

If the identity checks were completed when the account was opened, what changes when someone later wants to withdraw their money?

Is the withdrawal itself treated as a separate check? And are there particular situations where eToro would normally need to ask for more information before releasing the funds?

I am not expecting details about specific cases, but a general explanation of why these checks can happen would make the whole process easier to understand.
