Trying to make posters feel emotionally unstable instead of polished

I’ve been more interested in tension lately than refinement. A lot of contemporary design feels technically perfect but emotionally flat to me, so I started experimenting with visuals that feel slightly damaged, unresolved or uncomfortable instead. Not really trying to make them “ugly” more interested in whether instability itself can become part of the visual hierarchy

A few cover artworks I made recently for tracks and small music projects

Been trying to move away from the “throw effects everywhere” approach that a lot of underground cover art falls into.

Most of these were made for small music projects or personal concepts.

I’m more interested in creating a specific emotional atmosphere than making everything look polished or commercial, but I’m still figuring out how far texture/glitch can go before the composition starts collapsing.

Curious which ones feel intentional vs which ones feel overworked.

This whole project started from me drawing one symbol over and over again

me in the photos, logo by me too

trying to build a visual identity that feels loud, synthetic and a little bit nostalgic

Made these posters while being sleep deprived and listening to industrial techno for 6 hours straight

Trying to mix brutal typography with overexposed body horror / fashion visuals.
Which one hits harder?
