Finally got hold of the badges. Wasn't (and still not!) in a position to pick the full evolved starter display mammoth in February so unfortunately missed on these. Found them for a somewhat reasonable price at a National Brick Event.

Got round to building them last night. Good fun! I'm always wonky with stickers so forgive 🙏

I wonder if the Ditto GWP is going to be as sought after and carry the premium afterwards (probably!)

Who else has got these? Has anyone made a display stand for them to make them more vertical?
I've explored far too much content on the new Smart Play sets dropping in August since their official announcement. I'm curious to see if anyone's opinion has shifted since then. The online discourse was always expected, and I feel a lot of it is justified, but I'm seeing a lot of fellow content folks retracting their "Pokémon LEGO is a disaster" thumbnails to "Some of them are alright".
In my opinion, I like most of them. Expensive, obviously. Now that I've seen the Smart Play mechanics in action, and the actual builds up close, I'm confident my kids will absolutely love them. Which to me, is the main thing.
But how about you? Has your opinion shifted?
Dug out a collection I'd been hoarding for two decades and decided it was finally time to do something with it. My daughter and I are sorting through the lot together — three huge boxes of completely unsorted bricks, minifigures and random pieces collected from the 90s onwards.
Going to be a long project but genuinely enjoying going through it all.
Anyone else been through the joy of sorting a collection this size?
Visited the show this morning and these two completely stopped me. Both built by boffs_bricks — a Rayquaza Sky Pillar scene and a Groudon with a lava base that actually roars when you press a button. The detail in person was something else.
Was at the National Brick Events show in Chester (UK) this morning and this thing completely stopped me in my tracks. An Onyx Cinder. The scale and detail in person was something else.
Managed to have a quick chat with the exhibitor but didn't catch their name or any socials. Anyone know who built this? Would love to give them a proper credit.
