The new buffie brawlers are going to break brawl arena, so let's nerf 2 brawlers that have done absolutely nothing wrong

In my opinion this is the most unnecessary change ever, I don't understand why they did this

The healing gadget was also used by pros more than casuals, they really murdered rico's competitive viability for a more flashy thing ?

We know one of the 2 next seasons is going to be completely about katana kingdom, and we are getting the third trio member in the brawl talk's title. Making an entire season about a trio would be the perfect opportunity to give them new broken abilities, which is what my theory holds into.

Thoughts ?

I don't think this is impossible because I remember when they used to release new brawlers with hypercharges (I think Pearl released with a hyper, correct me if I'm wrong)

It is pretty obvious that the main problem with Damien is how oppressive his super can be, he jumps on you and knocks you back twice or sometimes even 3 times in a row, which makes him very infuriating to face, and making him the best brawler in the game tied with colgate.

However one thing I don't think I've seen anyone talk about is how long his super lasts.

Even if Damian's super misses, it still covers and blocks off a substantial area of the map, giving free control. It's like a sprout super/meeple gadget + a primo super.

One thing I have also noticed while watching esports is that pros rarely tend to shoot at the speakers to break them but I might have missed/ misremembered some instances.

There are many ways to tackle this issue, but I personally would like to see the speakers's health being reduced down to like 1000/500 health to allow every brawler to break them easily, as the super itself is quite broken, especially combined with the punch star power. Or maybe it's that star power that needs a nerf/change because it basically gives Damian's super no counterplay unless you are a brawler that just hardcounters Damian like Edgar or a tank with lots of HP.

Now I know Damian is probably receiving that nerf to his super that makes it so that when you get knocked back his speakers will break, but he is also receiving some buffs to "compensate" so he's probably still going to be S tier which is why I think he should still receive nerfs. Perhaps he has too much HP which allows him to win many interactions he should not have business winning.
