Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a patient and experienced driving instructor in Skopje (preferably near Radišani) for a Macedonian woman who has had her driver's license for about 20 years but hasn't driven since getting it. As you can imagine, she's quite nervous about getting back behind the wheel.

Ideally, she'd like to have lessons every day or every other day at first to build confidence and establish a routine, but the schedule can be discussed with the instructor.

If you know someone who is calm, supportive, and good with anxious drivers, I'd really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you!

We am going hiking in Shar National Park and would like to protect ourselves in the unlikely case that we are attacked by bears or shepherd dogs. The dogs are more of a problem than the bears I think. During our last encounter with shepherd dogs, the dogs were very aggressive and only calmed down after the shepherd shot his gun into the air. That was very effective, the dogs calmed down immediately. Hence the idea to obtain a blank gun.

I have two questions:

1. Where can we buy bear spray in Skopje or Tetovo, and is this fully legal?
2. Can we legally buy a starting pistol/blank gun, like the guns that are used at sporting events. And where can we buy it? My girlfriend is from Macedonia, so I would not buy it as a foreigner (I'm Dutch).
