Transitioning out of Puppy food. Should I use this or something else

My 35 lb husky mix is about to turn one year old next week so I want to transition him out of the puppy food. He has been eating Purina one plus healthy puppy formula pretty much since 8 weeks. Went to pet smart the other day and the woman working recommended Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach after we noted he has been shedding a ton and during brushing. Seems to show a lot of dandruff left over on the brushes.

How do you decide what food to give your dog? Is this the right play with the PPP sensitive skin?
