Is putting clear prescription lenses into sunglasses fine?

Is there any downside to this, as long as the frame allows swapping lenses? thank you

Is it a big deal if you don't install the plastic mulch barrier in the back of a new lawnmower?

If the back door is down, won't it be similar in action, or can this cause problems? thank you

What are the benefits to water level sensors for a sump pit, in a home without a generator?

If you have the sump pump inspected at regular intervals is there much of a benefit? If you were experiencing heavy rain fall, with power not lost, and you received the water to high warning, wouldn't you still be looking at a somewhat miracle of having a plumber make it out to you within 2-3 hours, and potentially fixing things? i appreciate any education on the topic.

A question about an updated glasses prescription, with a slight change.

Hello, for many years i was a -5.00 in both eyes. At my most recent appointment to keep my prescription current i was told i am now -4.75 in both eyes. I would prefer buying new lenses/frames with my long used prescription, as opposed to the newer, slightly less powerful prescription. I also read that there can be a 0.25 error built into the refractive process itself. My optometrist was not on board with using the older, slightly more powerful prescription. thanks for any thoughts
